Where in the Bible does it say Abortion is wrong, but war and capital punishment are OK?

War is a terrible reality. I don't think many people question if we should be at war right now, but rather where that war should be (iraq). There are very, very valid points on both sides. The Bible says, however, that the gov't doesn't bear the sword for nothing, however being a democracy that puts a lot of extra pressure on us. As for the poor, the health care issue once again has very valid points on both sides, but as for welfare in general, i like what the bible says a lot: they left the edges of their fields unharvested, so that the poor could come and have it. So yes, the Bible has welfare. Notice, however, that it wasn't a handout...they still had to come and do the harvesting themselves. It's a win/win.
