10 month old with strep throat!?

Any suggestions on how so soothe her throat? She wakes up every few minutes of the night so upset. Her nose is very congested so she is having to breathe out of her mouth when she sleeps, which we all know, with a sore throat is no fun. She is on antibiotics, but just started them today. I just feel so helpless, does anyone have any suggestions??
