The Da Vinci Code Questions!!!!?

I just watched the newish movie, the Da Vinci Code, I am 13 and I dont quite understand everything in the movie with the holy grail being a "woman" or whatever, can someone please explain all of that to me, because I know it works all together somehow when that old guy was talking about it but I dont get it, and is it all true? please let me know anything
