Every time i start up frost wire, my screen randomly goes black and the comes back on? why does it do that?

Your monitor is dying. Is it a CRT or a Flat Screen? There's a whole slew of reasons for why it is exhibiting this behavior but suffice it to say, you are about to get a new monitor.
