Will the autopsy report on comedian Greg Giraldo ever be made public?

The media usually knows how to find a story and get access to such things. A celebrity (well, a lesser known comedian) dies in a hotel at 44 years of age? You betcha there's a story there. The path of least resistance was to say it was an accidental overdose. Without the police finding a suicide note or people coming forward to say he was depressed or giving things away it is hard to make a determination of suicide. The reality is that eventually the tox report will surface and there will likely be media involvement. The trouble is Greg Giraldo was not that well known as a celebrity. He was on Comedy Central and did a few roasts. Aside from that he just did the comedy club circuit. But a story is a story and my prediction is that the truth will come out early next year if not sooner. I suspect it won't be a pill or two that killed him. It will be a whole lot of pills and a whole lot of liquor, a la Marilyn Monroe.
